Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild is a diverse group of men and women who enjoy the ancient art of blacksmithing.
We come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, but all share a common love of fire and steel.
If this is something that appeals to you, consider joining the Guild!
Want to learn the trade? Sign up for our forge safety class. It's fun, educational, and makes a great gift. Enrollment includes guild membership for the year!
Visitors are always welcome to observe, ask questions, and learn from our smiths.
If you have some blacksmith training or experience, and wish to join the guild, feel free to contact us.

Classes are one full Saturday, with this seasons class dates as follow:
November 1st, 2025
January 17th, 2026
February 7th, 2026
March 7th, 2026

Once all available classes are full, we will start a standby list in the event a registered student can't make their class or we add additional class dates.
We normally hold classes in November, January, February, and March. Each class is four students.
People start signing up in late August and classes are usually full by the end of December.
